But when we really start to work on making our communication more positive, we know it will be hard. After all, isn't complaining, criticizing and gossiping what we do for a living? Remember, if you think  you're compaining, then you are. Stop it.    Report

When the whiner has no intention to DO anything positive to fix the problem, they become part of the problem. Yeah, an old cliche' but still true. Last year I drew a line in the sand for a co-worker saying, in 2006 we're going to work on a more positive outlook to things.  Let's think about the boss' perspective before we criticize his actions.  It worked for a couple months.  Time to try again.    Report
